We will be welcoming our new retirees into the land of retirement. If you know of anyone who has recently retired, please mention our special event in their honour, as we do not always get contact information for them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our 2025 \u201cNo Bell\u201d picnic at Derby Reach on the outskirts of Fort Langley on September 3, 2024, from 11:00 &#8211; 2:00 PM.\u00a0 The LRTA will be providing a light lunch (sandwiches, veg and dip, fruit &#8212; and cake, of course). <\/strong>\u00a0Please<strong> bring your own non-alcoholic drink and folding chairs<\/strong>, and picnic items.\u00a0 We have reserved the covered area for the day, and we will keep our fingers crossed for decent weather.\u00a0 We are hoping to have marshmallows to roast over a bonfire. This is dependent on whether there is a fire ban at that time, of course.<\/p>\n<p>Derby Reach is part of Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, located on the banks of the Fraser River, at 21801 Allard Crescent, Langley BC (Edgewater).\u00a0 There are picnic tables and outdoor washroom facilities available. We hope you might like to join us for a social afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:\u00a0 This area (including the washrooms) is wheelchair accessible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>We will send out a reminder and more information in August.
