bg_image_animation=&#8221;none&#8221; border_type=&#8221;simple&#8221; column_border_width=&#8221;none&#8221; column_border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<h3>Richmond Retired Teachers\u2019 Scholarship Trust Fund<\/h3>\n<p>The RRTA Scholarship Trust Fund Foundation currently awards 30 scholarships to deserving students in Richmond\u2019s 10 Secondary Schools each year.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two $2000 scholarships in the name of<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/bcrta.ca\/richmond\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2017\/11\/Jean-Ross-Myron.pdf\">Jean Myron<\/a><\/strong> are awarded to each school.<\/li>\n<li>One $1000 scholarship in the name of the RRTA Scholarship Trust Fund Foundation is awarded to Boyd, Burnett, Cambie, MacNeill, McMath, McNair, McRoberts, Palmer, Richmond and Stevesto-London.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Directors of the RRTA Scholarship Trust Fund Foundation include:<\/p>\n<table width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"50%\">Glenn Kishi<br \/>\nDonna Matheson<br \/>\nJim McLeod<br \/>\nPat Walach<br \/>\nCharan Gill<br \/>\nDon Lintott<\/td>\n<td width=\"50%\">Chair<br \/>\nSecretary<br \/>\nTreasurer<br \/>\nDirector<br \/>\nDirector<br \/>\nPast Chair<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>The Jean Myron Memorial Scholarship was made possible by a generous donation from the Myron estate.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-37 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/bcrta.ca\/richmond\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2016\/11\/Jean-Myron-2.jpeg\" alt=\"Jean Myron 2.jpeg\" width=\"117\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When Woodward Elementary School opened in 1961 the four room school had Jean Myron as Head Teacher.
