BC General Employees’ Union and Canadian Union of Postal Works labour disruption
Tentative agreement reached
We’re transitioning back to full service following recent labour disruptions from BCGEU and Canada Post. While we work through the backlog and new requests, some responses will take longer than usual.
Your experience is important to us. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Key impacts:
- Submitted requests via email, paper mail, or Message Centre that weren’t actioned during the disruption will be reviewed and processed accordingly.
- Webinars suspended until webinars that were cancelled as a result of the disruption can be rescheduled.
- Personalized pension planning appointments suspended – New appointments will not be offered until we have rebooked appointments that were cancelled during the disruption.
- My Account is available – Members are encouraged to use the Message Centre via My Account to send and receive documents securely.
- Mail delivery delays – Due to the backlog at our mail facility BC Mail Plus there will continue to be incoming and outgoing mail delays in the coming weeks.
– Teachers Pension Plan
BCRTA Services
