The SRTA is a branch of the BC Retired Teachers' Association. Our membership is approaching 900.
The British Columbia Retired Teachers' Association (BCRTA) is an organization of retired educators: teachers, administrator and superintendents.  ​​​​​

The Mission of the BCRTA is to maintain and enhance the quality of life of our members and that of other seniors.  As a Branch of the BCRTA we work to encourage all retired educators to become members of the BCRTA.

We are also members of the Council of Senior Citizens Organization of BC (COSCO BC) and the Canadian Association of Retired Teachers. (ACER–CART)
