PART 2: DRIVE & VISIT TO M.H.C.’S GENEALOGY SOCIETY
Discovery Room main floor: 1:00 – 2:00 pm
The Society will soon be celebrating 40 years of serving Campbell River. Volunteers assist visitors in researching and growing their family tree, attaching their long-forgotten ancestors. Education programs are offered: from new family historians to advanced DNA researchers, and to the 100+ members and the public, in person and by zoom. The wide-ranging topics help genealogists learn about places, strategies for research, and managing the records our ancestors left behind. Stories are created, researching and rebuilding family legacies for future generations. All are welcome to visit and/or join the society.

Hello Everyone!
Welcome to our recent retirees: Emily Aitken, Lucia Boyd, Heather Demeo, Debra Hawkins, Lori Lewis, Tania Nelson, Chris Patterson, Louise Spencer, Ann Strebel , Mark Lagos and Julie Panziera. All members and guests are welcome to join us at our luncheon meetings (2025) September 2, October 16, December 18 and (2026) February 19, April16 and June18. Please let us know what your interest areas are and we will consider as a meeting idea. We provide an informal atmosphere at our luncheons and keep our topics to 20-30 minutes. Generally we meet 11:30 – 1:30.
Thank you to our members for your donations to support our Retired Educators’ Bursary. We were able to provide bursaries to Carihi, Timberline and Robron.
