Heritage Committee
Mission Statement:
Our MISSION is to promote and enhance the preservation of Education Heritage in Richmond, including its history, its geography and its people.
The committee collects, organizes and displays the history of Richmond schools and coordinates RRTA involvement in SD 38 events such as Education Week and the bi-annual District Convention.
Our current focus is cataloguing the numerous artifacts and ephemera housed at General Currie Heritage School. This ongoing project has been made possible through the acquisition of a BCRTA Heritage grant.
This committee meets most Fridays during the school year at the General Currie site. Please feel free to “drop in”.
