Community Involvement
Ruth Jantz (left)past president of the Vernon Retired Teachers’ Association and president Mel Maglio present 100 pounds of food along with $500 in cash and cheques to the Salvation Army Food Bank, accepted here by Salvation Army warehouse supervisor George Young. Donations are collected at the Association’s regular meetings in January and May of each year.
