BCRTA’s Heritage Committee is reminding branches that grants are available for projects that highlight education history in your local community.
A recent grant award went to the Elk Valley Retired Teachers’ Association for their project “Hands on the Past,” which gave school children and community members a vivid portrayal of the history of schools in the Fernie area.
