Johnson Insurance Rebrand
As of July 1, 2025, Johnson Insurance’s Group Benefits and Travel Insurance will officially come together with belairdirect, rebranding as belairdirect Group Benefits and belairdirect Travel Insurance.
Here’s what you should know:
Premium Rates
The policy renewal of the Extended Health Care and Dental Plan has been deferred until January 1, 2026. Until then, current premium rates will remain unchanged.
Updated premium rates and plan details will be shared well in advance to ensure members have ample time to review.
A More Versatile Structure
Effective September 1, 2025, members will no longer be required to enrol in the Extended Health Care Plan to access the Prestige Travel Plan (soon to be Journey Travel Plan).
Instead, members will have the flexibility to choose from Extended Health Care, Dental, and Travel Plan options individually to suit personal needs.
Journey Travel Plan
There will be no changes to Travel Plan rates for the September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026 policy year.
NOTE: Other factors may impact your premium rates such as age or plan selection.
Temporary Closures for System Integration
To support a smooth system integration, the Johnson Insurance Group Benefits and Travel departments will be closed from Saturday, June 28 at 5:00p.m. EST to Wednesday, July 2 at 6:30a.m EST for planned system upgrades.
All services will resume on Wednesday July 2.
